Telecommute Research Consultant

Kehrer-LIMRA, the leading research and consulting organization in the bank brokerage industry, has an opening for a Research Consultant. This position is an addition to staff as part of Kehrer-LIMRA’s ongoing expansion.
We provide insight that helps financial institutions and product providers improve their distribution of investment products and services. Kehrer-LIMRA is a subsidiary of LIMRA, an international membership-based financial services trade organization headquartered in Windsor CT.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position will be responsible for assisting in the creation of critical Kehrer-LIMRA research products. These responsibilities include the collection and organization of survey data, analysis of and drawing meaning from the data, and reporting on findings.
QUALIFICATIONS
•       Experience working with critical bank broker-dealer investment product distribution metrics including data on sales, revenue, profitability, broker productivity, sales force structure, compensation, product mix, and compliance.
•       Familiarity with the distribution and payout structures in banks.
•       Ability to create research reports that are derived from survey data.
REQUIRED SKILLS
•       At least four years of experience in the bank broker-dealer space is preferred since familiarity with the distribution and payout structures in banks is critical.
•       Significant knowledge of basic investment products such as annuities, mutual funds, and life insurance.
•       Ability to contribute to the design of questionnaires
•       Managing the proper deployment of surveys, the review, editing, and analysis of the data
•       Experience in organizing data for tabular and graphical presentation
•       Proven ability to provide contributions to the commentary in the reports.
TELECOMMUTING
This position can be conducted from a home office or from our offices in Windsor, CT.
Geographical preference is for the candidate to reside in the northeast, and ideally be within a reasonable distance to LIMRA’s headquarters in Windsor, CT in order to attend monthly meetings. The candidate must be comfortable working remotely in a virtual team setting.
